[ ] aivatar: the Finnish goddess of the sun, summer, and weaving, she is sister to the moon goddess Kuu, and represents the annual struggle against the cold and darkness of winter, as well as the promise that the light will return with summer. She is said to reside in the sky, where she weaves the golden light of the day to cast down upon the earth each morning.
